Here’s a piece I’ve been working on for a couple of weeks. It’s my first attempt at oils in quite awhile. I’ve forgotten how fun and time consuming they are. Either way, its just about completed but I couldn’t wait to post it. Expect the final in a week or so.

January 18, 2011So, Snackbar is closing its doors after roughly four years of holding down the corner of 20th and Rittenhouse. This means I need a job. I’ve decided its time to enter the creative workforce after however many years in the service industry. Hopefully these little custom resume boxes, just waiting to be screen-printed and filled with resume things, will be my ticket!
The first step: construction. Check.

December 10, 2010My birthday came and went and I ended up with a new camera! I’m super excited to document more around the studio. These are some photos of stuff I’m either working on or have just been waiting to shoot.
The last two represent a series I’ve been working towards for awhile. Using frosted plexiglass layers, I’ll finally be able to physically separate the painted shapes onto more than just a single plane. The frames are, as a result, super fun to make.

December 10, 2010I wanted to post a couple of shots from the show, as well as thank McJawn, Hipster City Cycle and the rest of the sponsors.

December 10, 2010I’m honored to have the opportunity to play a show with my close friend and studio mate Hilary White. She writes some honest-to-goodness beautiful music. www.lionversus.com * www.worldcafelive.com

September 21, 2010The window is closing! There aren’t many days left to check out defunct-80′s-cokecentric-nightclub and home to Part Time Studios’ newest endeavor. Make sure you make time to cavort with performers and eccentrics before its over. Also, it might be your only chance to see our mural as I’m pretty sure it’ll be covered up before the next rap showcase.
Here’s us working and what to expect.
The venue is @ 520 North Columbus Avenue, Philadelphia PA (The corner of Columbus and Spring Garden)
Some more info about the festival can be found here.
